I would like to thank the members of Women Giving Back Illinois
for providing me the opportunity to share information on the Center for Independent Futures. This organization is very near and dear to my heart. The staff and volunteers who work with the clients who are adult individuals with disabilities, such as my brother, do amazing work. They assist them in achieving their goal of independent living in a very dignified manner. I am thrilled to know that our donations will go a long way in helping to subsidize the cost for families who have a family member with disabilities; they might not otherwise be able to afford the assistance.
