This was our 19th meeting and our selected charity is (Elevated Access). 

​

We raised a total of $22,139.60.

 

Elevated Access – 62 donors which was a record number of people – gave $10,346.60 to September's choice.  Mike Bonanza, the founder, wowed the large crowd of donors who attended a dinner at my house to hear him speak. So many people told me he was their hero.

Our House of Hope – 14  people gave $2,675 in memory of our beloved chocolate lab, Bella

Refugees and Little Village Kindergarten Class-   23 donors gave $3,305

Meet Elevated Access

Their Mission:  Elevated Access recognizes that not all people have access to the healthcare they need due to stigma in their community. Because we believe everyone deserves access to healthcare such as abortion and gender-affirming care, our volunteer pilots provide free transportation to get people where they can get the care they need to live their best life.

 

Volunteer pilots at Elevated Access transport passengers at no cost to access the healthcare they need. Their mission is to fly people to locations where they can access abortion healthcare and gender-affirming healthcare.  They work with organizations like abortion access networks, direct support funds, and others to connect people who need travel assistance to pilots.  Elevated Access is based in Champaign, IL.
