Animal Charity Night!  Nominate a Charity
We've raised over $100,000 together!

It takes a village. Everyone who has generously donated to one of our charities has brought us to this milestone. Many people give to more than one charity and I am truly grateful. We've gotten to know amazing charities that are doing great work and assisted them through your donations..

I especially want to thank Lisa Dembo, who galvanized me to form Women Giving Back, so that I finally stopped talking about it, and took action.  Though she is no longer involved, I appreciate her time and input very much.  I’m indebted to Cathy Wilson, who designed and maintains our amazing website and gives me technical support. I also want to thank Karen Berkowsky who hosts our Zoom meetings.  Without Cathy and Karen, I wouldn’t have been able to continue Women Giving Back through the pandemic.

Thank you all so much.

Our selected charity at the 9/23 Meeting: Bounce Children's Foundation
Runner up: Center for Independent Futures

Total Donations - $8,150!
We had two charities nominated for our September meeting.  After two moving presentations, our members chose the Bounce Children's Foundation.

We raised $8,150 from 50 women who gave $5100 for the Bounce Children's Foundation. 25 members gave $2,600 to the Center for Independent Futures.  In addition, one member donated $100 to Some Assembly Required, a past selected charity, and another donated $350 to Our House of Hope., a previously nominated charity.

Meet the Center for Independent Futures

The Center for Independent Futures, based in Evanston, IL, was established to help individuals with disabilities and their families, educators, and agencies plan, support, and sustain more fulfilling lives.
